RuneScape Gold farming v.s Main botting
Gold farming and main botting are two very different types of bots.
Gold farming is where the botters’ main goal is to get enough gold to profit, whereas the main botting’s goal is to level up their account, complete quests, do dairies, etc.
Main account botting is very risky because you likely will be banned regardless of how good a script, proxy, or breaks are.
Risk of ban brings the prospective botter to the most significant rule of botting: To bot only on an account, you are ok with losing to a ban.
RuneScape Gold farmers know this is going to happen, and it is why they create many accounts with this in mind.
Botting on an account you care about is always a bad idea. Period.
Creating OSRS / RS 3 botting accounts
To do this, make sure you are on the SOCKS5 proxy you want and go to RuneScape.com website.
Click on "create a new account", and then you can put in gibberish for the email and password as it doesn’t matter if you use a real email or not.
Write down all of the account’s information on a spreadsheet where you can store all your accounts.
Botting Tutorial Island
It is always better to do tutorial island by hand due to Jagex’s very in-depth system that can easily catch tutorial island botted accounts.
As well as when you create an account, make the name very believable, don’t just spam random characters, and don’t use the necessary outfit, both of these things will get you quickly reported by other players.
But if you are creating a vast scale bot farm, you can do tutorial island with a bot and let the accounts sit for about a month to make sure they haven’t got a ban at that time.
F2p vs P2p RuneScape Botting
Free to play botting is a method that will often get you banned quickly, and the methods are most often not very high Gp per hour. It is recommended to bot in P2P (Pay-To-Play / Membership) to gain access to the best RuneScape botting methods.
Proxies, Proxies And Proxies!
Buying SOCKS5 Proxies is a very cheap and effective way to prevent chain banning of your accounts on the same IP address.
Proxies, in general, are essential for any botter who is running more than one bot as every single bot should run on the different proxy.
Do Some Breaks
You should have breaks from botting as much as possible. A good rule to run your OSRS / RS3 bot is - no more than 1 hour at a time, no more than 4 hours per day, and no more than 20 hours per week.
Times above suggests the maximum for a bot you want to keep from getting banned for as long as possible, but doing fewer hours is always better.
Changing Botting Methods is Healthy
Changing RuneScape botting methods is very important to keep your account from receiving ban.
That means every few days change the method the account is doing to make it seem more believable that a real player is on the account.
What is RuneScape Muling?
Muling is an essential process where other accounts that are not used for botting are created to hold RuneScape gold profits from your other botting accounts.
This is done, so if an account is banned, all the wealth is not lost.
Tip: If you are interested in selling the gold at a later date, Muling makes it easier to do so!

Choosing the Right Method For Botting
To create the best bot farm, multiple methods should be selected, balancing these three aspects.
RuneScape Gold per hour, Saturation or how many people are already botting it, and account viability or how easily can the account be made to bot this method.
Some bad examples of this would be a Chamber of Xeric Bot and a F2P looting bot.
The Chambers of Xeric bot wouldn’t be very viable because even though this is a very high Gp per hour and unsaturated method it would be incredibly hard to make accounts which could viably achieve this method.
The F2P (Free-To-Play) looting bot would also not be excellent as the Gp/per hour would be very low, and the Saturation would be very high even if the account were easily made.
Choosing a method means that you must find ways that have a stable balance of all three aspects to succeed!
Choosing a Script
Choosing a script is a large part of RS3 / OldSchool RuneScape botting. There are three kinds of scripts:
Each of these has advantages and disadvantages.
Free RuneScape Botting Scripts
Free scripts are the worst scripts that will easily get your accounts banned quickly, but of course, they are free!
We don’t recommend these at all for any severe botter.
Paid OSRS & RS3 Scripts
Paid scripts are scripts that are open publicly for anybody to buy, usually bought from the botting client’s website you have chosen.
These scripts are substantially cheaper than private scripts, but many more people use them, which can be a problem when it comes to banning rates.
For some higher-level paid scripts recurring payments must be made to keep the RuneScape bot going.
With most, if not all, of these scripts - you are unable to see the source code, which can be a problem if you want to change the script at all.
These scripts can be useful for a botter on a budget but not recommended for large scale bot farms.
Private Scripts
Private RuneScape bots are written by a coder in java and are most often the best scripts having the lowest ban rates.
The problem with these scripts is they can cost anywhere from 20$ to well over 1000$.
To find somebody to write a script, you can visit your botting client’s website and find the area where Private scripters advertise.
First, you must know what you want your script to accomplish and go over precisely what you wish to step by step with your coder for the best results.
Custom coded bots are the most highly recommended for botters with large scale bot farms.
